Plaxo Address Book Optimizer – PLAXOSYSTRAY.EXE

Plaxosystray.exe is the system tray icon that installs with the Plaxo Address Book Optimizer Toolbars V2.x or later for Outlook or Outlook Express. A file called plaxohelper.exe will also be running on your system. It is used to check for updated information such as bug fixes from the Plaxo network. In prior versions, this file was called installstub.exe. It was renamed to ease confusion. Plaxohelper.exe is also responsible attaching Plaxo to Outlook Express when it starts up, since Outlook Express has no API. So if you want the functions this program offers to be available in Outlook Express, leave this file in place.
