Intel Status Application – PRIVACYICONCLIENT.EXE

Privacyiconclient.exe installs with The Intel Management & Security Status application. The Intel Status Application displays information regarding Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT) and Intel Trusted Platform Module (Intel TPM). When the Intel Status application is running, it displays an Intel Status icon in your system tray. Running PrivacyIconClient.exe the with the -startup parameter, causes Intel Status to check for the presence of Intel AMT and Intel TPM at boot time. Failure to detect either results in the program stopping until the next boot. Running PrivacyIconClient.exe without the -startup parameter causes Intel Status to run, irrespective of whether Intel AMT or Intel TPM is present.
