Privoxy.exe is the executable for the Privoxy, a web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for protecting privacy, filtering web page content, managing cookies, controlling access, and removing ads, banners, pop-ups and other obnoxious Internet junk. If you want to use this program, you'll need to leave this file in place. If you have an 'always on' Internet connection, it will make sense to let it run on system startup.
