Quicken Download Agent - QW.EXE

Qw.exe is Quicken’s program launcher. If you have Quicken or Quickbooks set to run on system startup, this file will appear in your Startup Programs. You may also see files called qwdlls.exe and qagent.exe which is the Quicken download agent.

Some people experience problems connecting to their ISP with QAgent running. If this happens, you can disable it as follows:
1. From the Quicken Edit menu, choose Options, and then choose Internet Options.
2. With the Internet Options window open, press Alt+Shift+4.
3. Click Yes when asked if you want to disable the Quicken Background Download Manager driver.
4. Click OK at the Connection Options window.
5. Close Quicken, and then restart your computer.
