Panasonic Update Service – RAMASST.EXE

Ramasst.exe installs with the drivers for Multi-format DVD burners by Panasonic and LG. You may see it described as the "DVD Multi Drive Software Release Service. This file disables Windows XP's CD-burning abilities because they cause some incompatibilities with these drives. If disable this program, you may have some compatibility issues when you try to burn DVDs.

You'll find the latest drivers for your Panasonic at http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Drivers-and-Downloads. You'll find the latest LG drivers at http://us.lge.com/support/download/search.jhtml. Select "Computer Products" then "Optical Drives". Select your language then model.
