There are at least two programs with this name:

1. RAMBOOSTER.EXE is a program by TAS software. It is designed to boost your computer's performance when running "Aquatec", another TAS program. More information can be found here

2. RAMBOOSTER.EXE is a program by J. Pajula. It claims to improve your computer's performance by freeing up RAM. Numerous problems and lock ups are associated with this program. Help can be found on the author's message boards here.
