Creative Remote Center – RCMAN.EXE

RCMAN.EXE runs the "Remote Center" by Creative Technologies. It installs with most SoundBlaster Live! cards. Creative claims it can be used to start "all of your favorite programs". In fact, it seems to be limited to all of your Creative programs. While this offers you quick access to configure your soundblaster and to launch the creative mixer or audio player, these can be run pretty easily from Start > Programs.

Some users complain that Remote Center is a resource hog. If you experience problems with it, we'd recommend removing it.

You can download the latest version at http://www.americas.creative.com/support/. First select "Sound Blaster". Next, select the exact card that you have. Finally, select your operating system. Available downloads will appear.
