Researcher Toolbar Extension - RESEARCHER
We found three toolbar extensions using the name "Researcher". These place a link in your browser toolbar that will take you to their main search page.
The first is used to access the "Wayback Machine" by Internet Archive. More info can be found at http://www.archive.org/web/web.php.
The second is used to the Pro-Researcher at http://www.pro-researcher.co.uk/index.html?main=/howto_button.html&ref;=http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr;=&ie;=UTF-8&oe;=UTF-8&q;=researcher+toolbar.
The third is a Microsoft Internet Explorer Toolbar extension. It places a button on your browser's toolbar that can be used to launch Microsoft Encarta and MSN Encarta based searches. A browser helper object called eroproj.dll may also appear on your system. More info on Encarta can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/products/encarta/default.mspx.
These icons may not be visible but are available as a quick link. To include or hide them, right-click on the Internet Explorer toolbar and choose Customize.
If you want to get rid of the Researcher, maximize WinPatrol, click on your IE Helpers tab then remove the file there.
