Spybot Search & Destroy - SDHELPER.DLL

SDHELPER.DLL installs with Spybot Search & Destroy, an anti-spyware program by PepiMK Software. This browser helper object makes it easier for Spybot to recognize spyware that comes through your web browser. This could take the form of a download you initiate, an activeX control, or many other types of hostile code. If you use Spybot, you'll want to leave this file in place. If sdhelper.dll is crashing when running Internet Explorer 7, try upgrading to the last version of Spybot Search & Destroy. If the problem persists, some users recommend going to the Tools section of Spybot 1.4, click on Resident to open the Resident section and UNcheck the SDHelper option to disable Resident SDHelper protection for IE.
