Compaq Video – SETREFRESH.EXE

Setrefresh.exe is a utility that comes installed on many compaq systems that can be used to set the video "refresh" rate. You'll probably find it in c:\program files\compaq\setrefresh\. If you opt to remove this file, we'd recommend using WinPatrol. Locate it in your Startup Programs and select "disable" rather than "remove". That way if you notice a difference in video quality, you can easily re-enable the file.
