Spyware Guard – SGMAIN.EXE

SGMAIN.EXE is the executable for SpywareGuard, a program that provides real-time protection solution against spyware by scanning both exe and cab files and preventing spyware programs from installing on your system. SGMAIN.EXE will be running anytime you have SpywareGuard enabled.

You may also find SPYWAREGUARDCP.EXE on your system. This is the SG Control panel. It offers easy access to help files and configuration options. Based upon the author's documentation, it appears as though Spywareguardcp.exe does not need to be running all the time.
