Microsoft Printer Spooler - SPOOLSV.EXE
Spoolsv.exe is the Microsoft Print Spooler Service. It is part of your Windows operating system. This service handles the printer requests and maintains information about documents you send to the printer. When you print a document, it doesn't go directly to the printer. The file is written to memory first and then sent from there to the printer. This process is often called "Spooling".

The legitimate version of this file should be located in your Windows\System or System32 folder. The name is also in use by viruses and other malicious files. So if you have a file by this name in another folder, it could be a suspicious file. A copy of spoolsv.exe in your Windows folder may have installed with Backdoor.Ciadoor.B or VBS.Masscal.worm.
