SupaNet Setup – STATUS.EXE

Status.exe is the registration and login page for an Internet Service Provider called SupaNet. If this is your ISP, leave this file in place. More info can be found at http://www.supanet.com.

This ISP software comes installed on some new computers. Users have reported problems trying to setup other ISPs or online services using the standard Windows Internet Connection Wizard.

If the Status popup is ignoring you, it's simple to get rid of. Open WinPatrol and click "Active Tasks". Locate Status.exe and kill the process. Next, open "Startup Programs" and disable it there.
