ClockSync Spyware – SYNC.EXE

Most commonly, SYNC.EXE is the executable for a program called "ClockSync". The program adjusts your system clock to match an Internet time server. This program is spyware that generally installs with SaveNow by WhenU.

We'd recommend removing it. There are many spyware free programs of this type. Open your favorite search engine and search on "atomtime" or "internet set clock" to find one.

Less commonly, SYNC.EXE may be a patch for a Fax connector service by Optus Software. A program called SYNC.EXE may also be used to sync data between your computer and a PDA. Please refer to your PDA software manual for more information.
