TiVo Desktop 2.0 – TIVOTRANSFER.EXE

TiVoTransfer.exe installs with Tivo Desktop 2.0 software as part of TiVoToGo. Typically this software is something you would have downloaded from TiVo.com. TiVoTransfer allows you to transfer recording from your networked Series 2 TiVo to your PC.

TiVoToGo is only supported on TiVo manufactured systems and requires a software upgrade of version 7.1-x which is done by TiVo via your nightly updates.

DIRECTV DVR with TiVo, and TiVo Series1 DVRs. DVD Recorders with TiVo models from Humax, Toshiba, and Pioneer will not receive the TiVoToGo feature until later in 2005.
