Desktop Icon Background Tool – TRANSPARENTW.EXE

TransparentW.exe makes the background of desktop icon text white. TransparentB.exe makes it black. TransparentD makes your icon text color transparent. If you want to have the background of your icon text to be modified in this way, you'll have to run the program on stratup.

This program was created as freeware by Jay Guerette. Unfortunately at the time of this writing, his website is down. It can be found at http://www.members.shaw.ca/robertward/downlds/trnsprnt.htm.
