Multiple Programs – TRAYAPP.EXE

Trayapp.exe is the system try application that installs with a number of programs. In each case, this file places an icon in your system tray that can be used to access program functions.

Trayapp.exe installs with Novell iFolders, a program to sync data over a network. Novell recommends against removing this file. More info can be found at http://www.novell.com/products/ifolder/quicklook.html.

Trayapp.exe also installs with 3Com HomeConnect ADSL modem. 3Com has discontinued sales of this modem but support can still be found at http://www.3com.com/products/en_US/discontinued/cableeol.html.

Trayapp.exe installs with CDFoon, a database containing all phone numbers in the Netherlands with maps and route information. More info can be found at http://www.cdfoon.nl.

A file by this name probably installs with hundreds of other programs. Generally if you don't use the system tray application, the file can be safely removed.
