Acronis True Image – TRUEIMAGEMONITOR.EXE

Trueimagemonitor.exe installs with Acronis True Image. Acronis True Image creates an exact disk image of your live system for a complete backup. The disk image file includes all the computer data including the operating system, programs, software updates and patches, data files, configurations, preference settings, e-mails, pictures, and MP3s. If you use this program, we'd recommend leaving this file in place. More information can be found at http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/.

Trueimagemonitor.exe and timountermonitor.exe need to be loaded into memory to make a disk image. These should be loaded when the program starts but this is often not the case. For this reason, it's recommended that you let them run on system startup. If you do opt to get rid of these files, use WinPatrol to disable them rather than removing them. That way if problems occur, you can easily re-enable them.
