Interactive Services Detection – UI0DETECT.EXE

Ui0detect.exe installs with the Windows Vista operating system. It is the Interactive Services Detection service. It enables notification of user input for interactive services. To put it simply, it makes dialog boxes appear when you need to provide input for something. If the service is disabled, both notifications of and access to new interactive service dialogs will no longer function. So we'd recommend letting this service run as "automatic" in your WinPatrol Services list. If you don't see it listed, you probably have the "List non-Microsoft Services Only" option checked.
