Spyware - WEATHER.EXE

WEATHER.EXE and WEATHER.EXE 1 are executables for Weatherbug, a weather reporting program by AWS that can be used to check weather in your community or around the world. While the weather application is really cool, installing Weatherbugalso gets you other spyeware programs including trickler_pic_aws_weatherbug.exe and minibug.exe.

WeatherCast – WEATHER.EXE /Q

WEATHER.EXE /Q is the executable for WeatherCast, a weather service that places a lightning bolt in your system tray that can be used to get the weather report, current temp, and 5 day weather forecasts. This service is free but is widely viewed as spyware. If you don't recall downloading it, you may have gotten it when installing another free program downloaded from the net. WeatherCast was created by WhenU, an internet mass marketing company. Unless you're absolutely hooked, we recommend removing this program.
