Windows Multiple Boot – WINMBR.EXE

Winmbr.exe stands for Windows Multiple Boot Record. This installs with System Commander and is used for computers running multiple operating systems such as Windows, Linux, etc. This file runs on system startup and lets you select which operating system to boot into. Once you've made your selection, it shuts down completely so that it uses no memory or resources.

If you run a dual-boot or multi-boot system, you'll need to leave this file in place. If not, your best bet would be to uninstall the program at Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
