_mwutb.dll is the browser helper object that installs the Merriam-Webster Toolbar. The Merriam-Webster Toolbar becomes a part of your Internet Explorer browser toolbar so you can instantly look up words in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary or Thesaurus no matter where you are on the Web.
