Adobe PhotoShop Album – APDPROXY.EXE

A file called apdproxy.exe is the photo downloader that installs with Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition. The file will generally appear in your C:\Program Files\Photoshop Album Starter Edition\3.0\Apps\. You can use this program to organize photos, add captions or other information, and to share photos with others.

This program may have come pre-installed on your computer or it may have installed as part of Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0. More information can be found at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopalbum/main.html.

If you let this file run on system startup, you'll find that PhotoShop Album and PhotoShop Elements launch more quickly. If you use the program infrequently, you can safely remove the file using WinPatrol.
