Adware/Virus Alert – BHOMOD.DLL

At the time if this writing, little detail is known about bhomod.dll. It will appear in your Windows\System or System32 folder. You may see it described as BHOmodObj Class. Some sources classify it as Trojan.BHOmod.BHO. This trojan will connect to its controlling server and will try to download and install other malicious files.

We'd recommend removing this file using WinPatrol. First, kill it under your Active Tasks then remove it from your IE Helpers. If running WinPatrol 8.x or later, right click the file then select "Delete file on reboot".
