DeepDive Toolbar – DDDIEMON.DLL

Files called dddiemon.dll, ddiemon.dll, duduaccsvc.exe, duduprosvc.exe, and duduacc.exe install with an adware program known as the DeepDive Toolbar. This toolbar (also known as Dudu Dog) promises to optimize your web connection and accelerate downloads.

As far as we can tell, all it does is generate pop ads and hijack web searches. It may also track the URLs you visit. More information (in Japanese) can be found at http://ddd.dudu.com/.

We'd recommend removing these files using WinPatrol. First go to your Active Tasks and kill the files there. Next remove them from your IE Helpers and Startup Programs. If you're running WinPatrol 8.x or later, right click each file then select "Delete file on Reboot".
