Media Center – DMXLAUNCHER.EXE

DMXLauncher.exe installs with the Dell Media Experience and Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004. You'll probably find it in your c:\Program Files\Dell\Media Experience\ folder. A file called pcmservice.exe may also be running on your system.

Dell Media Experience converts your PC into a digital home entertainment center. You can use it to listen to digital music files (MP3), add music to your photo slideshows, watch DVDs, and view video clips. This software ships on most new Dell Dimension systems. If you use any of these functions on your PC, then leave this file in place. If not, you can remove it using WinPatrol or uninstall it via Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
