Fresh Download IE Helper – FDCATCH.DLL

Fdcatch.dll is a browser helper that installs with Fresh Download, a download manager by Fresh Devices. This freely distributed program promises to "turbo charge" downloads, to resume interrupted downloads, and to schedule downloads for a later time. The purpose of fdcatch.dll is to recognize that you're about to download a file and take over from your browser's internal download manager. If you use Fresh Download, this file will have to remain in place. Users have reported that fdcatch.dll isn't always removed when uninstalling Fresh Download. If this happens to you, one solution would be to use WinPatrol to remove the file.
