Virus Alert – FSERVICE.EXE

Fservice.exe installs with the Backdoor.Prorat virus. There are different variants of this virus including Prorat.C and Prorat.D. This virus gives a remote user control over your system through a predefined port. This user can download and install programs, delete files, and can browse the Internet appearing to be you.

We'd recommend removing this file using WinPatrol. First, go to your Active Tasks tab and kill any of the following files: main.exe, loader.exe, msmsg.exe, winserv.dll, fservice.exe, sservice.exe, and winlogon.exe. Next, remove them from your Startup Programs and IE Helpers tabs.
