Multiple Files – FVIEW.EXE

Most commonly, fview.exe is the executable for File View by Maze Computer Communications. This file viewer lets you browse file contents as ASCII text, hexadecimal dump for binary files or as raw text. It offers unlimited file sizes, a text or binary search, and the convenience of the Windows interface (drag and drop, DDE, Windows Explorer context menu, File Manager menu, etc.). This file doesn't necessarily need to be running all the time. It can be launched manually when needed via Start > Programs or using the Desktop Icon.

Less commonly, fview.exe installs with a freeware program called FontView. This program lets you view text in each of the fonts installed on your system to quickly locate the font that looks best. More info can be found at http://www.myfreewares.com/software-16260-FontView.html.

Because this is a common name, other files may be using it.
