Adware Alert – HLWIN.DLL

Hlwin.dll installs with Adware.LinkMaker. A file called qlink32.dll may also appear on your system. You'll find these files in your Windows\System or System32 folder. You may see them described as "LinkTracker Class". The LinkMaker adware program will hijack your web searches to its controlling server and can also download other adware programs. Files called lmf32v.dll, hyperlinker3.exe, uninst.exe, and preuninstall.exe may also may also appear on your system. We'd recommend removing these files using WinPatrol. First, kill them under Active Tasks then remove them from your IE Helpers. If running WinPatrol 8.x or later, right click each file then select "Delete file on Reboot".
