Multiple Programs – IEPLUGIN.DLL

Most commonly, a file called ieplugin.dll installs with the SysTran Toolbar. You'll probably find the file in you C:\Program Files\Systran\4_0\Premium\IEPlugIn.dll folder. Systran is a language traslation tool that can be used to translate text or web pages to or from English and a number of other languages. Translation of PDF files and Microsoft Office documents are available in some versions of the program. More information can be found at http://www.systransoft.com/products/index.html. If you run Systran and do translations from your browser, then leave this file in place. If you don't need translation services all the time, the program can be manually launched when needed.

Ieplugin.dll also installs as part of MetaMail. MetaMail is a product registration and email marketing program. In general, we'd recommend removing this program. More information can be found at http://www.metamail.com/products/.

Because ieplugin.dll is a common name, there may be other programs using it.
