Virus Alert – KB290333.DLL

A file called kb290333.dll installs as a browser helper object with the Win32.Tansid.A Trojan. This Trojan will set itself up to run on system startup. It will then download a file called jaaste.dll from a predetermined domain, dropping it in your Windows folder. Other files may be downloaded as well. We'd recommend removing these files using WinPatrol. First, kill them under Active Tasks then remove them from your IE Helpers. If running WinPatrol 8.x or later, right click each file then select "Delete file on Reboot". Finally, reboot your system. We'd also recommend a full system scan with an up to date antivirus program.
