Multiple Programs – MDHELPER.DLL

We found multiple programs called MDHelper.dll.

Most commonly, MDHelper.dll installs with Mass Downloader, a download utility by MetaProducts. This file installs as a browser helper object to integrate the downloader with your Internet Explorer browser. We saw many complaints about this file being impossible to delete. If you no longer use Mass Downloader we'd recommend doing two things: First, remove the file using WinPatrol. Next, go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Mass Downloader.

MDHelper.dll is also a Microsoft file described as "Microsoft OLE DB for OLAP. This file installs with Office 2000 applications (Access, FrontPage, Outlook, PowerPoint, Small Business Server, Word, and Excel).
