Microsoft Money Toolbar Extension – MONEYSIDE

Moneyside is a toolbar extension that installs with Microsoft Money 2002 or later. It places a red "M" in your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser toolbar. When clicked, Microsoft MoneySide pops up displaying a sidebar of financial links. Some find that annoying.

The Moneyside toolbar icon may not be visible but is available as a quick link. To include or hide the Moneyside icon, right-click on the Internet Explorer toolbar and choose Customize.

If you don't want this feature, the file can be removed using WinPatrol. You'll want to remove moneyside and mnyside.dll (the related browser helper object). These will appear under WinPatrol's IE Helpers tab.
