Symantec's LiveUpdate – NDETECT.EXE

NDetect.exe is part of Symantec’s LiveUpdate utility that is used to check for and deliver updates to programs such as Norton Antivirus, PCAnywhere, etc. NDetect establishes the presence of an internet connection then LiveUpdate delivers the update. Leave in place if you want automatic update notification for these products.
