Internet Optimizer Adware – NEM220.DLL

Nem220.dll is a browser helper object that installs with a adware program called Internet Optimizer. The Internet Optimizer/Nem variant hijacks both searches and error pages to it's controlling server. At the time of this writing, that's yoogee.com. This progarm may also send personal info to it's controlling server. Finally, it can update itself or download other files from it's controlling server.

We'd recommend removing this file. In some cases, you can do so by going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstalling "Internet Optimizer" or "Active Alert". If this option isn't available, we'd recommend using WinPatrol to remove this file. First, kill it under your Active Tasks tab then remove it under your IE Helpers tab. There are multiple versions of this program in circulation. So we'd recommend removing any filename starting with nem21*.dll (nem213.dll, nem214.dll, nem216.dll, etc.).
