Ad Popup Killer - POPUP

There are many programs that use files called popup.exe. One of the more common ones is Tweak-XP and Tweak-XP Pro by Total Idea Software. Popup.exe is one of the 40+ utilities bundled in this shareware program. Popup prevents most popup ads from being displayed in Microsoft Internet Explorer. There are probably many more. Popup Prevention is being added to Internet Security programs such as Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security 2003. Please keep in mind that these types of utilities kill all popups, even those that are not ad based. Popups can be used legitimately for things such as displaying larger versions of thumbnail images. If you visit a website and it doesn't seem to be working properly, temporarily disabling your popup blocker may help.
