PeoplePC ISP – PPCTOOLBAR.DLL

Ppctoolbar.dll is a browser helper object that installs with the PeoplePC Toolbar. Generally this is installed by those who subscribe to the PeoplePC ISP Internet Service. You'll find this file in c:\Program Files\PeoplePC\Toolbar. You may also have files called ppshared.exe, pccrunonce.exe, bartshel.exe, station.sbrt, dialer.exe and bandobject.dll on your system.

Some fint the PeoplePC toolbar to be annoying. Users have safely removed ppctoolbar.dll and bartshel.exe and tell us that they get fewer popup ads. If you'd like to try removing these files, please do so using WinPatrol. Go to your Startup Programs and 'disable' the file. That way if you find you need it, you can easily re-enable it.
