Adware Alert – QLINK32.DLL

Qlink32.dll installs with Adware.LinkMaker. You'll find it in your Windows\System or System32 folder. You may see it described as "LinkTracker Class". This adware program will hijack your web searches to its controlling server and can also download other adware programs. Files called lmf32v.dll, hyperlinker3.exe, uninst.exe, and preuninstall.exe may also may also appear on your system. Qlink32.dll also installs with the Quicklink Search Toolbar. This adware program hijacks your browser searches to its controlling server.

We'd recommend removing these files using WinPatrol. First, kill them under Active Tasks then remove them from your IE Helpers. If running WinPatrol 8.x or later, right click each file then select "Delete file on Reboot".

Because this is a common name, it's possible that other programs not related to these adware programs may be using it.
