Wireless Network Driver – S24EVMON.EXE

S24EvMon.exe is an event monitor that installs with the Citrix Meta Frame Client software. It can be found on systems with Intel or Symbol Technologies Wireless Network Interface Cards installed. These are most popular on laptop computers. We also found it installed on handheld and mobile devices by Hitachi.

Some users reported this file using up to 95% of available system resources. Others mentioned that it caused systems to lock up or crash. If you're experiencing problems, you may want to disable the file using WinPatrol then test for network connectivity. If problems arise, simply reenable it.

You may see this file associated with certain viruses such as W32.HLLW.Gaobot.EE. These are simply shutting down the program to make it easier to compromise your network security.
