Adware Alert – SDKIP32.DLL and SDKIP32.EXE
Web believe that sdkip32.dll and sdkip32.exe install with a variant of the SearchAssistant / ShoppingWizard adware program. (Some are also calling a CoolWebSearch variant). This program hijacks your browser's homepage and search results to its controlling server.
We'd recommend removing these files using WinPatrol. First, go to your Active Tasks and kill the files there. Next, look for any 4-8 character filenames that appear to consist of random letters and/or numbers paying special attention to files made up or 4 random letters (sometimes followed by 32.exe). Kill these as well. Next, remove these files from your IE Helpers. Finally, look for any files with the same root name but ending in .exe. These would be found under your Startup Programs. If running WinPatrol 8.x or later, you have the option of right clicking each file then selecting "Delete file on reboot".
Some classify this as TrojanDownloader.Win32.Agent.al. More information can be found at http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/pest/pest.aspx?id=453088156.
If you've tried this and have trouble getting rid of these files, you may want to try the CoolWebShredder found at http://www.mysteryware.com.
