Setup.exe

Setup.exe is a common name used for the file one runs to install a program. This filename is in use by so many commercial and shareware programs, it is difficult to narrow the field. A discussion of the Microsoft Installer can be found here.

Typically, once a program has been installed, the file is no longer required. But it is generally recommended to keep the file in the event that a program may need to be reinstalled.

If Setup.exe appears as an active task and you've just installed a program, try rebooting your system. That may get rid of it for you.
