Virus Alert – ST3.DLL

St3.dll will appear in your Windows\System or System32 folder. This file installs with a variant of Trojan.Downloader.Win32.Delf. This Trojan attempts to download and install other malicious files without your knowledge and may generate an error message stating that memory is low. It also has backdoor capabilities and could allow a remote user to access your system.

We'd recommend removing this file using WinPatrol. First, kill it under Active Tasks then remove it from your Startup Programs. If running WinPatrol 8.x or later, right click the file then select "Delete file on Reboot". We'd also recommend a full system scan using an up to date antivirus program.
