IBM Update Manager – UCSTARTUP.EXE

Ucstartup.exe is the IBM Update Manager. It can be found in c:\ibm tools on most recent IBM ThinkPad notebook PCs. It runs to check for available software updates for new driver versions. It is recommended but not required.
