Adware Alert – VINVBIE.DLL

Files called winvbie.dll and msiev32.dll install with the Visua Explorer Toolbar. This adware based toolbar is often stealth installed at popular game sites. This toolbar can hijack your web searches to its controlling servers.

We'd recommend removing these files using WinPatrol. First, kill them under Active Tasks. Then remove them from your Startup Programs. If running WinPatrol 8.x or later, right click each file then select "Delete file on reboot". Please note that removing this file may make it impossible to access games downloaded from the website that installed it.
