WinZip – WINZIP32.EXE

Winzip32.exe is the executable for the 32-bit version of WinZip by Niko Mac. This popular file compression utility lets you zip and unzip files and folders. It offers an easy to use wizard-based interface and can encrypt files with AES encryption. More information can be found at http://www.winzip.com/

This file doesn't necessarily need to be running all the time. You can manually launch it from Start > Programs. If you have Winzip set up in 'file types' to handle .zip files, then clicking on any file ending in .zip will also launch the program.
