LinkSys Wireless-G Adapter – WLSERVICE.EXE

Wlservice.exe installs with the LinkSys Wireless-G USB Network Card. If you purchased your card or router from Linksys, you'll probably find the file in your C:\Program Files\WUSB54G\ folder. This folder name may differ if your card came preinstalled in your notebook pc. More information can be found at http://www.linksys.com/products/group.asp?grid=33&scid;=36.

This file places an icon in your system tray that can be used to configure your wireless network. If you're not having problems with this file, we'd recommend leaving it in place. If you do opt to try removing it, do so via WinPatrol. That way it can be easily re-enabled if you experience a loss of network or Internet connevtivity.
