Win XP SP2 Service – XMLPROV.DLL

A file called xmlprov.dll is Microsoft's Networking Provisioning Service. This service manages XML configuration files on a domain basis for automatic network provisioning. This service is now a part of the Windows operating system. It was added with the SP2 update to Windows XP Home and Professional. We would recommend leaving this file in place.
