Spyware/Adware: HotBar Installer - HBINST

HBINST.EXE is the installer for a program called "HotBar". This program adds extra features to your email program including stationery, backgrounds and clipart. A companion program called SmartButtons adds functionality to your browser. Both of these programs gather information on your browsing habits and transmit it back to HotBar. As such, this is classified as spyware. Having Hotbar in memory may slow down your system in general and your browser specifically. We’d recommend removal.
