Rapid Blaster Spyware - RB32.EXE

RB32.EXE is the executable for a spyware application called "Rapid Blaster". It is required to view certain porn sites. It is also classified as a "Homepage Hijacker." This means that you may enter a URL into your browser but Rapid Blaster may secretly load a completely different site. At the time of this writing, there are two versions making the rounds: RapidBlaster/v1 and RapidBlaster/ip.

It may install by itself or as part of an Internet Explorer toolbar called ISTBar (another spyware application). In some cases, Rapid Blaster may be installed on your system by an ActiveX control (RapidBlaster/AInst) when you open a web page. We strongly recommend removal. In some cases, going to your Control Panel then "Add/Remove Progarms" won't remove this program. For this reason, we'd recommend unchecking it in WinPatrol.
